To celebrate our curriculum, we held a DT day in school where all of the children created something for Chinese New Year celebrations including food and hand-stitched felt designs.
Nicol Mere celebrated the work of great British artists through an art enrichment day. Each year group was given a different artist to study, and used this influence to create their own piece of art work. This included practicing different skills, such as paint or sketching techniques.
Today we learned a nonsense poem by Spike Milligan called the Ning Nang Nong. We had lots of fun performing it in a silly way.
Fun on the playground with the Play Leaders.
Play Leaders test the equipment, both new and old.
Time to let the other children have a go.
Great action shot… yes he landed on his feet!
Some children try out their balancing skills on some of the other new equipment.
A huge well done to all children who attended today’s Interschool Challenge.
