The children of Nicol Mere have supported the Samaritans Purse Charity this year and have made shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts to send to children who are less fortunate than ourselves.
A special congratulations to the following children who made their own shoeboxes:
Laila (Y4), Hannah (Y3), Tegan (Y3), Isabelle (Y3), Kieran (Y5), Benjamin (Y3), Liam (Y6), Kiera (Y3), Katie (Y6), Abigail (Y6), Robert (Y4), Leonie (Y3), Â Millie (Y3), Maddison ( Y5), Evie (Y5) and Emily (Y4).
Thank you to all children, staff and parents for also supporting our cake sale. We raised enough money to send our 17 shoeboxes.
Staff and children attended a moving assembly in honour of all the people who have lost their lives at war and to remember all the people who continue to be affected by war in the world today.
Everyone in their PJs to raise money for Children in a Need.
